Dr. Tanveer Ahmad is a Director of the Bank representing Marsa Food & Beverage Limited. He completed his MBBS Degree from University of Science & Technology, Chittagong in 2009. Then he obtained MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Cardiology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in 2017. He founded T A Trading in 2003. Then he joined in New Star Lab & Diagnostic Centre in 2010 as director and Guest Lecturer of Psychology Department in 2011 and Medicine Department in 2012 in the University of Science & Technology, Chittagong before joining Sir Solimullah Medical College & Hospital as a post Graduate Fellow. At present he has been working in United Hospital, first as a Fellow Cardiologist in 2017 and later on in the Department of Cardiology.
Dr. Tanveer is the owner of T A Trading and Managing Director of Infinia Knit Fabrics Ltd. & Paradise International Ltd. He manages and supervises the concerned institutions.
Dr. Tanveer visited various countries of the world and participated in various seminars and workshops conducted at National and International level by various local organizations including Bangladesh Society of Cardiology, Transnational (TNCS), BIT and Multinationals (MNCs), American College of Cardiology (ACC) workshops. He also volunteered for the free medical camp and relief work in various rural areas of Bangladesh. He is a life time member of Bangladesh Cardiac Society and an associate member of Bangladesh Intervention Cardiac Society. He is involved in a number of research studies and his thesis work on young patients with cardiovascular diseases was published in Bangladesh Heart Journal.
He is also engaged in various social, educational and cultural organizations of the country.

Professor (Dr.) Qazi Shahidul Alam represents Platinum Endeavors Ltd.in the Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. In 2018 he was entrusted with the portfolio of Vice Chairman of Islami Bank Foundation (IBF) and Chairman of the Hospital Committee of IBF. Since June 2022 he is honoured with the position of Chairman of Islami Bank Foundation in compliance with a Regulatory Order issued by Bangladesh Bank. Professor Alam is the Founder Chairman and former Professor of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). By the recommendation of Bangladesh Public Service Commission he assumed the position of Professor of Orthopedic Surgery in Dhaka Medical College and NITOR. He was also Director, Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital and Director, Medical Education, DGHS. Professor Alam obtained his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in 1972 ; Postgraduate Diploma in Orthopedic Surgery from the University of Vienna in 1980 and MS in Orthopedic Surgery from the University of Dhaka in 1985. He was conferred a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons USA in 1987. He availed Advanced Training in Orthopedic Surgery from The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions USA in 1993.As a Fellow of World Health Organization he received Advanced Training in Tissue Culture and Bone Banking from Atomic Energy Commission of Tyaian, China (a subsidiary organization of the International Atomic Energy Commission). Professor Alam is a widely travelled professional who visited many countries of the world, presented scholarly articles, scientific papers and chaired scientific sessions at national and international conferences at home and abroad. During his early professional life Professor Alam was the General Secretary, Dhaka Medical College Students Union in 1972 (first election after independence) ; Convener, Bangladesh Medical Internee Association in 1973; Chairman, Dhaka Medical College Alumni Trust from 2019 till date; President, Dhaka Medical College Teachers’ Association from 1991-1994 (elected 2 terms) ; Secretary General, Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) from1994-96 ; Secretary, PROKRICHI (Professional Association of Engineers, Doctors and Agriculturists)from 1995-97;President Bangladesh Orthopaedic Society from 1999-2002. Currently Professor Alam is holding a number of highly dignified positions like Member of Executive Committee, Bangladesh Medical Association; He is a member of the Standing Recognition Committee of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council; Senate Member, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University ; Chairman, Governing Bodies of Islami Bank Medical College Rajshahi as well as Uttara Adhunik Medical College; Member, Governing Bodies of Dr. Sirajul Islam Medical College and Bangladesh National Society for the Blind, Khulna; Advisor, Rabindra Complex, Dakhindihi, Phultala, Khulna. Mr.Md. Quamrul Hasan represents Grand Business Limited in the Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited. He completed his M.B.A (Marketing) from Royal Roads University, British Columbia, Canada and M.S.S, Economics from University of Dhaka. Mr. Hasan started his career as Zonal In-Charge, Alpha Tobacco Co. Ltd. in 1984. Before joining the Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, he completed his long journey with Meghna Petroleum Ltd. from 1988 to 2018 in various areas of job responsibility. Lastly, he was the Managing Director and CEO, Jamuna Oil Co. Ltd, Chittagong, (A subsidiary of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation). Besides, he is the Director of different Companies like; Mobil Jamuna Bangladesh BD Ltd., Omera Gas1 Ltd., Omera Petroleum Ltd. and Omera Cylinder Ltd. Mr. Hasan has a diverse marketing background on petroleum and FMCG products. He is fully conversant with marketing and business development of FMCG items. He has also an excellent interpersonal skill, believes in encouraging people and initiative in work for organizational development. Professor Dr. Mohammad Saleh Jahur is the Vice Chairman of Islami Bank Foundation and an Independent Director of the Islami Bank. He was a Professor of Accounting and Banking at University of Chittagong. He started his career as Lecturer in the Department of Finance in 1993. Before, joining the university, He worked at MIDAS (an NGO; now a financial institution) and Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (an Autonomous Government Organization) as executive. He also completed BCS successfully but did not join. Dr Jahur completed all academic programs –SSC, HSC, B.Com (Hons.) in Accounting, and M.Com in Accounting with outstanding results. He did his Ph.D.on Lease Financing in Bangladesh Study of Policy and Performance under the joint supervision of Professor Dr S.P.Singh and Professor Dr. Manoj Anand in University Business School, Punjab, India under ICCR Scholarship of Government of India in 2000-2002. He did a diploma on Financial Reporting Standards and Assurance under the World Bank Scholarship at London, United Kingdom in 2008. He also studied on Green Productivity for Industry under the scholarship of METI, Japan in 2013. He also worked in Chartered Accountancy Firm for five months. He is a continuous researcher, working in the area of corporate finance, stock market and industrial productivity for many years. He has a good number articles published at home and abroad. He also participated many seminar and conference as paper presenter, discussant, and session chair at home and abroad. Besides, eleven students got awarded with M. Phil. and Ph.D. under his supervision from the University of Chittagong and about fourteen students are pursuing M. Phil. and Ph.D. at universities in Bangladesh and Malaysia under his supervision/Joint supervision at present. Mr. Jahur successfully implemented the projects titled "Grameen Bank and Socio-Economic Changes—A Study of Select Loanees" and “Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project“ awarded by German Cultural Center-Goethe institute, Dhaka, and University Grants Commission, World Bank & Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh respectively. Besides, he worked as Editor of Capital Market Journal-Vision and Academic Journal-of Faculty of Business Administration of University of Chittagong. Professor Jahur served as an Advisor to Chittagong Capital Limited-a Brokerage of Chittagong Stock Exchange, Bangladesh and GPH Ispat Limited for three years from 2009 to 2012. He worked as an Independent Director of GPH Ispat Limited for two terms (6 years) i. e. from 2012 to 2018. He has also been working as an Independent Director of Hakkani Pulp and Paper Mills Limited since September, 2017. Professor Dr. Md. Fashiul Alam is an Independent Director of the Bank. Currently, he is the Dean of Faculty of Business Studies, Port City International University, Chittagong. He was the Professor of Department of Management and Dean of Faculty of Commerce & Chairman of Department of Management, University of Chittagong and the former Vice Chancellor, Feni University. He was also the Senior Research Fellow, Institute of Business Management, Karachi, Pakistan. He obtained B.Com Hons and M.Com Degree in Management from the University of Chittagong and stood first in order of merit in both examinations. As an Indian Government Scholar, he earned Ph. D in 1982 on ‘Collective Bargaining in Bangladesh Jute Industry’ from the University of Punjab, Chandigarh. He did Post Doctoral Research from the University of London, UK as a Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellow in 1991-92. He was also a Visiting Scholar in 2009 at University of Texas A & M, USA. Dr. Alam participated in the Australian Academy of Business Leadership sponsored SIBR Conference 2015, Sydney, Australia, April 17-20, 2015, 8th SKM Symposium and 2nd CBSM Conference, Magdeburg, Germany, September 17-20, 2013, Canada International Conference on Education (CICE, 012) CICE-2012 held in June 18­-21, 2012 at University of Guelph, Canada and others in France, USA, China, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Bahrain during his professional tenure. Dr. Alam is well known as a reputed scholar, potential academia, creative researcher, efficient administrator, dedicated social worker and a man of high dignity and distinct personality. Mr. Showkat Hossain FCA is a renowned, distinguished and one of the senior most persons in the field of Chartered Accountancy and currently holding the position of Member of the Risk Management Committee of the Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC. He hails from an aristocratic Muslim family of Chattogram. Showkat Hossain FCA is the 42nd President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He became an Associate Member in 1977 and Fellow Member in 1986 of ICAB. He served the ICAB as Vice President in the years 2004, 2006, 2007, 2012 & 2013. Mr. Hossain is a Senior Partner of Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co., Chartered Accountants since 1998. Earlier he was the Finance Director of Sunman Group of Companies, Qualified Assistants of Ahmed Ahmed & Co., Chartered Accountants. He also worked in Glaxo Laboratories (Bangladesh) Ltd. as Internal Auditor prior to qualifying as Chartered Accountants. He worked in Eastern Refinery Ltd. as Management Accountants after qualifying as Chartered Accountants. He also worked in Ras Lanuf Oil & Gas Processing Co. Inc (RASCO) the only Petrochemical Complex of Libya for about 15 years during 1979 to 1993. Mr.Mohammed Monirul Moula has been serving as the Managing Director & CEO of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited since January 01, 2021. He has undergone a long banking career in multidimensional capacities since his joining in this Bank as Probationary Officer on March 06, 1986. During this long banking career, he served as the Additional Managing Director of the Bank with the responsibility as the Head of Corporate Investment Wing which included the Investment Risk Management of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited for nearly 3 (three) years. Previously, he was the Head of Retail Investment Wing, comprising the affairs of SME Finance, Retail, Consumer & Real Estate Investment and Rural Development Scheme, the Head of Corporate Investment Division-II and the Head of Chittagong South Zone. He was also the Chairman of Investment Committee and the member of Management Committee (MANCOM), Asset Liability Committee(ALCO), and Committee for Recruitment & Promotion of the Bank. Mr. Moula also served the organization through multifarious activities. As Branch Incumbent of Agrabad Branch, Chowmuhani Branch, Pahartali Branch, Anderkillah Branch, Cox’s Bazar Branch and Hathazari Branch, the significant operational units of the Bank, Mr. Moula gave emphasis on developing the business in multi dimensional sectors. He also played significant role for smooth implementation of Shariah based business strategy, reduction of Non-Performing Investment (NPI) and mounting the branches as anchorage of prospective SME customers as well as corporate clients.
